Who we are..!

Zolen & I started the journey of exploring the medieval & ancient arts one & a half decade ago. We travelled across China, Nepal, India, Uzbekistan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, UAE and many more countries to know & to feel the traditional arts & handicrafts of the forgotten civilizations. Art made of mud, bamboo, wood, clay, porcelain, glass, amber, gold, silver and many other metals have always mesmerized us & took us to the emotions and untold stories of the people in the past.
Quite accidentally, we came across the extinct traditional art of "Bone Crafts" originated in the woods of Africa before humans settled for farming. The craft was transferred to generations and artefacts born from it were considered as royal gifts at times. 

But in modern world, when the hunting of wild animals was abolished, the art came to near complete halt. Zolen & I embarked on a mission to rejuvenate the forgotten art and traced the successors of artisans in inaccessible villages of earth. Though many of them had not touched this craft or tools, our aid brought out their love to their forefathers' art and thus the artefacts bloomed again.

The very artefacts you see in our online store are born out of the hands of artisans who carry the legacy of more than a millennium. Buying from us is also a life support to this art.
